I noted this in the review. But to be fair, all 90s sedans had much lower seating positions compared to cars today. I've driven the AE101, AE111, B14, itlog, pizza, EK and EG, all have low driver's seats.

We had an itlog before and it also had low seats. Same with the pizza. Maybe the Lancers had marginally higher seats compared to the big body, but nowhere as high as today's sedans.

My EE100 test unit was actually running quite well for a 23 year-old car. No suspension kalampag, aircon was still relatively cool, engine was running nicely (but there's really not much you can squeeze out of a 2E engine). It was supposed to be a GLi vs 1.6G comparison but I didn't have a GLi on hand. Anyway, both are midrange variants so it turned out to be more of an apples-to-apples comparison.

Your gift of gab conjures up images that the pedestrian - looking Corolla or Altis, however Toyota may call it, sounds or looks like a Jaguar.

    Congratulations!

They'll be providing the Civic RS, but I don't think they have an SiR on-hand right now.

Oo naman bro, basta stock or close to stock. Lahat kasi ng nakikita kong SiR ngayon halos wala nang natira from the stock setup that it had in the 90s.

Thanks for the kind words. The Altis is no Jaguar, and it will never have the same pizzazz as any luxury Euro marque, but it's an example of Toyota's kaizen that has made the econobox better through the years.
