My suki said lettuce is at P500 per kilo now. It used be around P300 lang. Carrots from P40 to P70. When I grow old, I really wanna have a farm with all the fruits and veggies I regularly eat.

Binayo rice if available is way lot better specially fresh harvest.

It was not difficult for me because growing up my family is fond of wheat or whole wheat bread na. So the taste of brown rice was familiar for me na. I know a lot of people that hate the taste of brown rice. Ang hindi ko makain yung black rice :sukaback:

Wild quinoa is 450/3kg from my supplier. I cook 60gm(dry weight) per serving. So I get 50 meals in healthy lol.

Still better than 1kilo lettuce lol that is good for 3-5 servings.

It requires a little more chewing. Its ok with fried foods with ketchup or with soup based ulams.

Not ok with grilled chicken/fish. Dry + dry isnt good hehehe

Wow! Where do you get it? If I remember correctly it's more or less 500 for a pack (not sure if it's 500 grams or 1 kg) I'll check on it tomorrow at the supermarket nga.

One trick you can try is to start with 30% brown rice /70% white rice and then gradually increase the ratio of the brown rice. :-D

First 4 meals ko ibang iba talaga lasa ngayon nasanay na. Yung cooking time lang problema. Ang tagal haha. 40-45 minutes compared to white rice na 20 mins lang.

Ei thanks for detailed replies mga bros re: brown rice. Apparently my gf said, she already served me a meal with brown rice; di ko daw nagustuhan and it was 50/50 with white at pinag talunan na pala namin. :o

Btt: gf tampo dahil di sya kasama sa tagaytay pero 3 gurlfriends ko office kasama.
