This morning, there was this Philippine Airlines service crew vehicle, an Innova, we encountered along BF Paranaque...

I was halfway crossing an intersection and he suddenly appeared on my left and he turned-on his headlights, as if he was going to cross, perpendicular to my line, and so I gave way, but he turned left (same direction as mine now), on the last second. I could only shake my head. Wife and myself were thinking that he was hurrying to pick-up a flight steward for a flight this morning.

Anyway, he does not have a village sticker and so we waited for a few seconds until he surrendered his license and a pass given to him.... (My thinking is that he knows that he does not have a sticker, but jockeyed for the position.. oh well)

For those of you who are familiar with BF,- this village is littered with humps, which were designed for the (in)famous CA rolling "stops"....

But this time, for the next kilometer and 6 humps,- behind this vehicle, which I could not overtake as the opposite traffic was moderate,- I stopped before the humps,- as this vehicle did a full stop, even for the slightest bump of hump. Vehicle in front of him was at least 100meters away. And he was driving in the middle of the lane,- so no opportunity even for the impatient wicked minded,- to overtake on the right.... His driving speed was a respectable 35-40KPH, which is a bit hard to overtake in a village street with such volume of traffic.

Anyway,- my worry then was that the vehicle/s behind me, might not anticipate it,- as it gets some time, getting used to doing a full stop before the humps in BF, and I/we could be having an accident while the moron driver of this PAL Innnova vehicle go on his merry way....

Oh BTW,- just before he turned right,- he stopped in the middle of the road and collected his wits for a few seconds, before he decided to suddenly turn right (you guessed it right,- he did not turn his signal light)... How I wish there was a motorbike passing us on the right who could have hit him.....
