I do know a lot of childless couples. Off the top of my head I could name 6 agad. I probably know about a dozen. That used to be so rare before. Anyway we have different measures of success naman. I have a childless Tita and I think she is the most successful among her siblings. I am her daughter na lang

I guess I am traditional and personally would have trouble respecting my husband if he only stays at home. If there is a huge opportunity cost for the wife if she quits her job , then both of them can work. I would understand the need for one parent to stay at home if they are based abroad. But here in the Philippines we have extended families and yayas to help with raising the children.

*vinj seems like houseband from katamaran kasi the 3 women I know with housebands e their husbands are into sidelines lang. Yung isa networking, yung isa buy and sell ng car, yung isa sales sales din.

madami na akong nadinig na ganyan kesyo pagtamad ang asawa iiwanan kesyo aawayin.... pero hindi eh pinagtitiisan nila ang asawa nila dahil mahal nila eto at dahil sa mga bata.

So far the childless couples I am close with are childless not out of choice. It pains me at times as some of them are very dear friends and i can almost read their thoughts and feel their emotions whenever we're together with other friends who have kids, and the topic of discussion shifts to the kids and stuff.

I was likewise treated as son by an aunt who had no kid (she's quite successful too)... she and her husband eventually adopted and they have two kids now. I guess that strikes me out of the mana list. :D

That is so desperate naman to have a child out of wedlock because of her fear. I do know a lot of women who had their first child in their 30s.

The childless couples I know e most married in their late 20s. I really cannot explain why dumadami ganun.

1 and 1/2 years na kami married, nung newly weds may pa-control control pa kami nalalaman

and now we are trying na sad to say wala pa din baby.

stress and pressure is building na nga..

Could be stress from work and the daily rigors of life nowadays. In my case (work pressures and all), i got my kids without even trying. :D :rofl:

Bad trip nga... I feel for you man. But hey, i do think dadating din yan. A year and a half pa lang naman kayo. Maybe isang magandang bakasyon lang katapat nyan (my second kid was a Bora baby... nasira tuloy yung saying na "What goes on at Bora, stays at Bora ).

Wifey and myself know the desperate feeling to the bones and all too well, bro.... Ako pa naman ang tanging tagapagdala ng apelyido namin sa buong angkan.....

We were not able to conceive for a year after marriage... Tampulan kami ng tukso primarily galing sa mga kasama namin sa trabaho....

Sa mga kamag-anak, hindi naman masyado,- pero may ilan na matindi ang pangangantyaw sa amin...

Minsan nga, nanghamon na ako ng sapakan.... Alam naman niyang laki ako sa kanto so takot naman sa akin....

So much pressure nowadays sa trabaho at sa society....

Luckily,- a few months after the first year,- na-conceive na namin ang aming unang anak (lalaki), and so we named him from this phrase "Gift Of Our Lord".......

Same here. It really pains me to post stuff on facebook esp about parenting and my children's activities. pero I've come to realize, it's not really my fault na childless sila. It's their circumstance, not mine. I am just sensitive to what I post para naman di maka-offend.

Most of our childless friends are very successful financially (as in super rich). But when the night looms, dalawa lang sila sa bahay. I do hope they adopt children though (there are a lot of children who needs a home), kahit foster lang.
