Same here. The soles of some of my air max deteriorated na. There was this NB 574 I used again recently to a site meeting. Last time I wore them was pre pandemic pa. While walking from my car to the site, the soles of both started separating! So I was walking like I had a pilay hehe. Kakahiya! Buti na lang may rugby dun sa site kaya yun ginamit ko hehe.

That happened to me also but it was while playing tennis, kumalas talaga yung sole!

according to google,
the polyurethane material used in them soles, undergoes hydrolysis (a type of chemical reaction) over a long period of time, sometimes faster. this is why they crumble, even as they were "barely used".
bottomline, we can't stop it.

so how to prevent it?
don't buy shoes with polyurethane soles.

This is what happened to my air max, ang sakit sa loob ko. Yung dumi eh recently lang dahil napabayaan ko na nung nasira. Masakit sa loob ko kasi bihira ko lang isuot dahil nga puti and I want it to last long.

Maybe I owned it for 5 years and wore it less than 10 times.

try walking thru wet ground and you'll find out one reason why i do not like krox.

Sayang naman. High humidity and temp ang mabilis makasira, nag crumpled ang sole.

Try to put it sa ziploc bag to avoid moisture kung di mo gagamitin for a long period, or lagyan mo ng dessicant yung box ng shoes from those sa mga bumibili ng handbag (usually meron sa loob kaya libre lang).

Or keep your shoes sa room na lagi ginagamit aircon, it will help sa lifespan.

I have a 2015 Jordan 1 na minsan ko lang din gamitin, but is still ok today.

The sole is different talag kasi cushy, maybe that is why nadudurog later because of the need to make them so comfortable. Yung leather shoes, papalitan lang pang-ilalim buhay pa "balat" eh hehe

I do full tank method. The 50L on the ASX is around 400km while on the XT, it’s 350 km.
