Bakit triple yung bill namin for June sa Meralco? We paid April and May naman and our consumption did not increase. Sa BFF ko 6x ang increase hahaha! Looks like same week mag release ng bill ang Meralco kasi may friends ako from LP, Paranaque, Mandaluyong and QC, puro bill shock.
Same kami lahat na nagbayad ng April and May at hindi naman increased consumption

Mas malaki yun actual consumption niya sa average kaya meron pa siyang balance sa April and may. So add yun sa actual na nagamit pa niya for may-June
Kung ang actual na usage niya nun april is 4k then may is 3k so melrn siyang balance na 3k add niya sa current bill niya yan and since tumaas consumption niya iba na bracket niya ng June mas matatas na price

no one came to read our contadores during the lockup period.
whatever electric bills we got during that period, are just estimates based on previous performance. whatever deficits are discovered once the contador is read again, are added to the latest bill.
then we have to consider that during the lockup period, we were all indoors, 24/7/4. kuryente for reading light, indoor illumination, aircon, ventilador, radio and TV, computer, and water pump (kung meron), are all expected to be increased.
In our case dr, wala kaming increase becuse I work from home naman talaga. Nadagdagan lang ng 1 or 2 days a week that I'm at home, and that is very minimal electricity, laptop lang during the day. That is the same case with my friends, they expected a rise but not 3 to 6 times, when we paid naman April and May.

see your contador readings, and see if they support your seeming-astronomical bill.
read your january, february readings, and then your latest reading. these readings should be printed in your billing statement.
if you still feel you are being mis-handled, go to your meralco branch office and complain.
puede rin naman kasi, na once their computer sees the apparent over-billing, they might just adjust their future billings to your satisfaction.
