Pinadaan ako no Waze sa edsa. Andaming VIP pinapasingit and nabunggo pa ng isang motor side mirror.

Kalahati ng full tank ko naubos sa edsa.

Minsan prang hindi din reliable si Waze. Papunta kaming SM Fairview last monday, sa likod ng SM kmi pinadaan. [emoji2359][emoji23] Napalayo pa tuloy.

missing your exit?
i've done that once or twice.
waze helps, if one is comfortable using it. the voice prompts are useful.

and "pray that there's no traffic to and from the next exit, so's you can double back fast."

last time, i missed the clark exit.
i spent the next two hours traversing the so-called back roads of central luzon.
every time i asked for directions, it was always, "derecho lang po kayo sa... malapit lang yan.."
well, their "malapit" was something between 5 km and 10 km...
and they seemed to have difficulty between "kanan at kaliwa".
but maybe it was "me"... i don't waze.

Waze din ako. Most of the time lalo pag malalayo yung pupuntahan.

Pero prior to the trip, usually day before, hinahanap ko na sa waze yung pupuntahan ko. Sinesearch ko rin sa maps. Nirereview ko yung way kung san ako pinapadaan ni waze at kinocompare sa google maps. I use street view din to familiarize landmarks. Ganito ginawa ko nung nag road trip kami pa-Mindanao.

So kung lumampas kayo sa exit, walang ibang way kundi mag exit nalang sa susunod na location then balik from the start? Haha nacurious lang ako bigla kasi sabi ng wife ko naexperience daw ng dad nya yon. Ang ginawa nila is 2hrs bumyahe para makabalik sa tamang exit.

Nagre-review din ako ng way everytime na bbyahe ng malayo, pero nalilito pa din ako minsan. [emoji23]

it's easy to miss your exit, because all them exits look the same.
without the signs, it would be very difficult to determine your exit, even if you actively look for it.
so if you miss your exit, make your exit at the next opportunity and make the u-turn.
ask the toll person how, because them roundabouts can be very different from each other.

Sa panahon ngayon, swerte na nga tayo at may waze na at in-car gps.
Depending on the situation, i would explore the backroads instead of going back at the expressway to pay another toll fee. Yun eh kung di naman ako nagmamadali.

Eto din iniisip kong gawin the next time na maligaw ulit ako sa exit. Parang hassle kasi kung babalik pa sa expressway knowing na sobrang layo ng way para makabalik sa tamang exit.

i did.
i missed the nlex clark exit.
it took me two hours exploring the backroads of central luzon, "to get back".
my guess is, this is what the post-er was refering to.
instead of making a u turn at the next exit, nag-exit nga, nguni at nag-adventure sa backroads in going back.

Bad idea especially if you don't know the place, just correct the route and get on the expressway again going back. Now should you wish to use the local roads of central Luzon instead, give me a PM doc. Marami pwede mag entertain sa atin dito while traversing them back roads hehe
