I went sa repair shop they said P1200 for glass. Thankfully di tinamaan LCD! Lesson learned to use case na protected all around yun phone.

Yes you back it up first via PC.

If I were in your shoes, I would upgrade my phone ASAP. Note 9 will come out October pa so I doubt you can wait that long. Better to upgrade while your phone still works para you can still back up everything.

It already happened to me before that my phone's LCD broke before I could back up everything. Buti nalang nababasa pa ng PC so nakapagback up pa ko via Smart Switch kahit wala nang display.

Thanks. I can't find the link you gave for smartswitch. Is it SmartSwitch The samsung guys said they can back up EVERYTHING even the logs of my phone but I have very private info on my phone that I don't like anyone to see.

The guy at the repair shop said, glass lang daw kailangan palitan sa phone ko and it costs P1200. The LCD was not damaged. Honestly. if the crack has no other effect on my phone, I can use it still Note 9 kaya P49,990 pa rin?

Note 9 malamang mas mataas. IIRC prices increases around 5k per generation. Alam ko 40k lang bnew na Note 5 before eh. And then 45k Note 7 and then now 50k Note 8.

Yes they can replace just the glass and it should be fine. But thats if they do a good job with it. Nabasag glass ng Note 5 ko before, had the glass replaced, then nagcrack magisa uli yung screen and then eventually the entire LCD leaked.

So from then on I decided na never na kong magpapagawa sa tabi-tabi lang na shop. Either Samsung service center or sell it nalang for a really cheap price as is.

You dont need to replace the glass. Hindi naman kakalat yan unless may damage talaga sa LCD. You just have a cracked phone. My mom dropped her phone a few weeks ago and may crack sa side. But it still works fine. I just got her a new phone because she was getting bothered with the crack. If it doesn't bother you then it should be fine.

Dunno though why you're planning to wait, di naman bababa price ng Note 8 until lumabas Note 9.

[emoji24][emoji24][emoji24][emoji24][emoji24] one beating the red light, tonight naman di pa nag green yung light nag go na ako[emoji20], nag assume ako after ng count down sa red light ay mag green na, tapos nung nag go na ako ay it stayed red....sh*tttt!!!! Napa sarap kasi kwentuhan ko with dad that I didn't notice na red pa pala. Yung stress now is I have to wait for the text maybe after a week coming from the traffic bureau if how many penalty points they will impose and how much fine I have to pay, hay yung torture....

Reminds me of our neighbor also, pag sila lumagpas nung mga gamit or mga manok nila sa kabilang lote which is not theirs, ok lng sa kanila, pero one time may inaayos sa bahay and then yung panday may nilagay lng ng sandali sa kabilang bakanteng lote but kukunin naman agad, nagalit ang loko, huwag daw ilagay dun, eh di naman sa kanya ang kabilang lote, wala ako nung time na yun, my in laws told me the next morning na, sabi ko sa kanila, bilhin ko kaya ang lote sa kabila para walang pag lagyan ang mga manok nya, ayaw ng in law, baka gugulo lng daw at pagpasyenhin na lng daw kasi matanda na.
