BWISET TALAGA I came in at 3:30 pm, and of all people yung new head/VP namin ang nakasabay ko sa elevator Nobody comes to work at 3:30 pm. Kung half day man, late pa rin

yes AI is definitely a threat to the BPO industry

the BPO industry has to adapt -- train people to do more complex jobs

AI will first replace low level jobs but as technology develops who know what else it will be capable of

In our case, they are done with the lay offs at least for this year. They are doing a rigodon on the upper management level. We all do not know why. Pero sa heads namin dami natanggal. VP and up naman ngayon nanganganib.

Sa team namin we (non mgt) were cut in half. It's ruthless the way they let go of upper management that have been with them for decades. Yung favorite VP ko sa HQ is physically sick from too much work. He works minimum 12 hrs daily for at least the last 5 yrs

the company is losing money

aside from trading losses they're facing thousands of lawsuits which forced them to set aside BILLIONS OF EUROS to pay fines and legal expenses which already resulted in 2 straight annual losses since 2015

your new CEO has been cost cutting since he took over in 2015

many have been laid off

those who haven't been laid off aren't getting bonuses

morale is very low

how much more cost cutting can the company take?
