well, that's one way of getting the customer's cooperation.
may nabasa ako, that if the customer's old card gets skimmed and money is taken out, the bank is the one that may get blamed and fined for it.
the bank is probably simply covering its back, commanding the ATMs to confiscate the old card.
New member here, bad trip ako today dahil 6 months nang di magamit bagong bili namin na car. Sila magbabayad eh. So paano pag na deny sa claims? Sorry na lang ako? Nakakabadtrip. threatening pa daw ako dahil sabi ko magDTI. So bad trip lalo na kung yun backed up ng planta yun palpak na dealer.

It is not Toyota sorry it's Mazda. Car was hit by a stone underneath while traversing along edsa. Next day it was brought to Q Ave mazda for check up since it is nearer and mazda north ave, q ave and pasig is owned by just one company. They checked car, okayed it for travelling and ordered the broken cover and clips to be replaced. Minor scratches was noted on the filter too but when cover came, they didn't replace filter after checking "daw" and testing "daw" and that was a month after the accident. Two months after the accident, son and hubby heard weird noise from engine going up megamall's parking ramp. Upon parking they looked in to see what's amiss, seeing nothing they went in mall. Upon coming out, they saw oil dripping from car, prompting them to request for mazda towing. Mazda was towed to dealer where we acquired it. A day or two after someone called my husband to inform him that engine warranty was void and we have to make an insurance claim. Hubby said okay and told me to talk to them. One service manager admitted that it was an oversight on their part and will we pls be kind enough to make an insurance claim for if we don't, they will be the ones to pay for it. I refused because negligence is not a legitimate issue. The people from this company came to our house 3 times to talk me into agreeing and assuring me they'll just pay for the deductible. I really do not want to agree, but somewhere along the way talking to this malicious person, he managed to make it look like engine damage was our fault. So i handed problem over to insurance company. Service manager prepared everything including the affidavit. So until now, we are awaiting insurance company's decision. 6 months. Soul red, special plate but useless all. Nakakabadtrip. Sana i agreed na lang to buy a honda. Car is brand new. Bought october 2016
either way.. the waiting game is too long... why is the insurance company taking too long to decide?

from what i understand.
the stone hit the oil pan, deforming it, and causing it to leak.
repairman replaced the damaged part, and released the car.
but for some reason, oil still leaked out, and engine died because of oil starvation.
if i got it wrong, kindly enlighten.

Stone hit the cover broke it and was released okay for use. After a month car was brought back for installation of cover which was ordered and check-up "daw". A month after installing cover, manifestation of leak. They said matagal na yun leak, but indicator light did not go on to warn us of any trouble. So nakakabadtrip, kaya nga dinala sa kanila, for warranty not to get voided and we believed that they have the know-how and will take good care of our car. Pffft, hindi pala.
now, that's strange. why did it take a month to fix the leak? are they lacking in spare parts?
they are supposed to be the bastion of maintenance. que matagal na o que recent lang yung leak, they still have the duty to inform the owner, who will then decide whether they will fix it or not.

drained battery 3-4 days ago. nag start pa at nagamit; kala ko ok na. demmet bili bago less than a month after the warranty LOL
oo nga bro eh
previous post mo, few months back; bigla ko naalala habang nag hard start yung kotse lol
kitang kita ko yun 12.8V bumagsak ng 9-10.xx volts pag start ko ng auto O_o
demmet, dapat binaklas ko yun top part ng battery BAGO pa nag lapse warranty. sana nausog pa ng ilang buwan.
note to self, buy batt later; make sure top part is easily accessible .. no more 3k batt for me (masyadong sealed eh) hehehe
Walang leak, nakalagay sa report minor scratch sa filter at broken yun service hole cover. It took a month kasi inioorder oa "daw" yun parts. Thus understood pagbalik nun car, the inspected it before they installed the cover... what's strange is dealer forcing us to make an insurance claim and the voided warranty
Sorry for this. Mali pala assumption ko. The reason daw her card was confiscated eh yung huling ATM na non-bdo na ginamit nya eh is flagged as "compromised". So the next time na gumamit sya ng bdo machine eh na confiscate yung card nya. It's nice bdo have this system.

so, hindi nila nakita yung oil leak that was caused by the stone.
as a result, the engine lost all its oil and, i assume, suffered considerable damage.
from where i stand, it would appear casa has every right to deny warranty. there was nothing wrong with the way they manufactured the product. it was not poor product quality that started the ball rolling.
an accident (the stone) caused the oil leak, which, unfortunately, the repairmen did not detect. it is possible, that the leak was very minimal at first. that is why it was not detected early on, and that is why it took all of 2 months to dry the sump.
siguro, sa dulo na lang ng istorya biglang bumigay ang tulo, resulting in dry engine syndrome.
in my opinion, you may have a good case for the insurance guys.
^ i do hope her mazda woes become resolved soon. Bad trip nakatengga lang sa casa iyong m3 (?) nya
Pero it makes you think how come the low oil pressure didn't light up though
when you look into the abyss, the abyss looks into you
^ anong sabi ng mazda dealer niyo about the low oil warning icon not doing its job?
when you look into the abyss, the abyss looks into you
