It all depends on your situation here bro.

We had the same opportunity some years ago and we decided to stay here. We believe we made the right decision....

Btt: the GES led bulbs with just a year of warranty were not worth it...

Mukhang rebranded Lang ang GES, just like Omni, firefly, Akari etc.
Local brands sa atin but coming from Chinese generic LED bulb makers. Quality syempre nila is low unless you get the longer warranty bulbs na 5years ng GES kung meron pa sila since better components ang ginamit.
Philips makes their own LED bulbs, which have come down significantly sa price. Kung GES is 200, 240-250 ang philips, philips na ako. [emoji51]

In fairness bro sa firefly and akari, we have it all led bulbs sa bahay in and out, 3 years now wala pa naman kami napalitan and we bought it all nakasale pa.. but that was my concern before maybe it will not last that long,.

A contractor pointed out to me, you should check the rated burning hours too. GES typically has longer burning hours than even Philips or GE. They always advertise that they're using newer generation LED tech. In any case, meron namang class A/B/C/D yung made in China.

That said, burning hours don't mean squat if the internal circuitry conks out.

If it can last me 2-3 years I'm good by then it will be cheaper to replace.

"sorry for the inconvenience" seems to be getting thrown around a lot these days. Palpak na serbisyo? Instead of finding a solution, just put up a "sorry for the inconvenience" sign.

Actually no idea ako dyan bro about the specs, but i think it has lasted long enough (3years) considering its a cheaper product than the GE and philips. I tried once the GE but it keeps on blinking when switched off and it didnt last a year.

i just saw an led tube. its rated burn time was 15000 hours.
that'd be about two years of continuous use. did yours live up to rated lifespan?
if you calculate the wattage of the led versus wattage of the fluorescent (or incandescent), how much electricity did it save you during its lifespan?
putting in the cost differences between led and non-led, that should answer whether it was worth it or not.

There are a lot of factors doc. Switching cycles, fitting/fixture, electricity stability, etc. LED's shouldn't be put inside closed diffusers like CFL's are. LEDs are also more sensitive to fluctuations.

Speaking of saving electricity.. 3mos after we moved in to our new home, our electrician drop buy and offered some sort of installation magic not familiar with electrical stuff but as i remember it has something to do with groundings.. he said its the same thing they install sa mga hotels.. sure it did.. our bill dropped to as much as 40% and now to 50%. Any electrician here who had idea about this? All i know is they brought some grounding wires inside the ceiling area and said they grounded the connections.

Yes probably, and in the main circuit box, the main switch, only one pin is set to ON while the other is off para daw sa ground yun, my concern before maybe it'll cause defects to the appliances but its still ok til now, and really a big difference to my 3 previous bills.

Diba dapat non factor na ang switching cycle sa led?

Bakit ka badtrip today?
