need your advise, nabangga yung 6 month old Honda City ko ng taxi sa likod. damage is 2 very small (4mm size) but deep scratches. no dents. galing dun sa screw nun plate number nya. honestly, hindi sya ganun ka halata. Babayaran ako ng 2500 pesos nun operator. pumayag na ako after mag makaawa yung driver.

question is, should i go ahead and do own damage (participation is 4000) and have the casa repair it or have it done outside? wala akong alam na paint shop in QC and Im afraid na lalo pang pumanget bumper ko.

Havent tried scratch removers pa.

pareho naman ang participation fee, que dalawa, que dalawampu...
baka nga... kung hindi naman halatang masyado, ay malilimutan nyo na yan paglipas ng ilang panahon.

if you bring it to the casa, it will take 2 weeks or more, if your suking talyer, 24hr or less if yan lang ang damage...

it goes without saying, po. but yes, it must be emphasized to newbees to the auto insurance industry.

do what he says.
if managed wrong, that ankle will make you suffer in varying degrees, years after.

did you lose the info only, or did you lose the hard disk itself?
it's hard for me to lose a hard disk. the computer's not small.

i think the harddisk itself, not really sure, the NAS that contains the harddisk is blinking red. i removed the harddisk and mounted it to my desktop, its showing as RAW format and cant read the contents. will try recovery utility next weekend.

Or invest in smaller capacity hard drives? Something tells me that multi-terabyte hard drives, while certainly more convenient and cost-effective, still have a lot of reliability issues. Tricky talaga yang backup. You'll usually end up with 1 main drive, another 1 for backup and another 1 as backup of the backup. ��

This reminds me to backup our photos again.

we are deciding either a harddisk bay with 2 or more slots, so we can mount 2 harddisk, 1 is just a image of the other. but this might cost 20k or more.

or go for Google Drive which is P89/month for 100gb. thats a little over 1k a year.

use Google Photo's unlimited photo back, it will backup all your photos at a reduced quality, max of 16 megapixel, not bad for point and shoot photos.

loss due to damage? dropped or somthing like that o bigla na lang na corrupt yung drive?

maybe you can consider yung payo ng iba na ipunin mo muna. my wife had a city na company car, she had it for 5 years. ipon lang mga gasgas. then before returning it to the company she had all the scratches and dents repaired, 12k na natawaran pa ng 10k. ang ganda ng pagkakagawa, the car loos new. 10k for 5 years of dents ang scratches, not bad.

ang pinapasok lang talaga namin sa insurance eh yung mga deformed na talaga na bangga.

Korek.. sakin nun sa sobrang dami ng small scratches inipon ko na lang, then here comes bagyo.. nabagsakan ng hardiflex na kisama sa parking ng robinsons, ayun onetime claim lang all new paint pag labas(wash over).

Curious lang, why have it repainted before isoli sa company? Normally kasi company car, if issued as tool of trade sagot ng company lahat ng maintenance, and if it is sked to be replaced every so many years, doesn't matter what condition it is when you return it.

Aww, maybe it's because I don't consider dents and scratches as employee-caused damage, cause it was incurred in the course of doing business, perk counted as business cost. Even collission damage, is shouldered by the company (insurance participation), unless it happens frequently, then it may qualify as employee caused damage. But then maybe your company has a different car service policy
