Oh come on. Your mom and tita's would be more pleased to know that their contributed funds are growing, instead of being stuck up in a car.

    :D
Agree here! Your folks would be more pleased with such.

    Magkano ba 2014 Corolla? 1M+ I assume?

1M is more than enough capital for a modest business.

Hmmm, my daily diet. I can provide you tutorials for free!

Honestly Cat, accounting needs considerable time in order to focus and make the correct analysis. That is why I cannot check tsikot most of the time. I think you need to limit your browsing especially it is year-end/quarter-end.

But the problem is my family (paternal and maternal side) wants me on a corporate job. Sa paternal side only 2 of us among all the cousins have work and my Lola (paternal) is very proud that I am "responsible" So if I quit my job, I will be among the bums na naman. My kuya and cousins have a history of failed businesses din so I don't blame their lack of confidence.

In the corporate world, there's no way but up. But then again, I reckon na ayaw mo rin ng responsibility that comes with the position.

    Dead lock ka.

Mgmt Acctg is not enough to cover all facets of acctg. You need theories from basic and advance acctg plus auditing and taxation. I never thought acctg would be my profession as I started with pre-med. I realised I ddid nt have the intellect and the deep pocket to finish medical school so I shifted and learned to love the subject.

Btt: parang may lagnat ako. I hv colds and my throat is itchy.

You say that despite the privilege that you enjoy. Imagine the life of a jobless newly graduate .... etc.

It could even be better you know, if you just take charge and stand up.

Nobody gets to do it but you alone. 2014 na, clock is ticking.

nung mawalan ako ng work at matagal bago nagka work ulit, I envy all people who go to work.

Sabi nga ng professor ko dati, accounting is an art. You have to learn to appreciate it in order to excel. Sa class namin siguro 10 percent lang yung mga taong yun. The rest started with public accounting but eventually changed careers. Pero corporate pa rin. And yes with corporate job, particularly accounting, no way but up.
