This is very interesting for me. Were you able to cut ties with this sociopath? I also came across a sociopath before but more "malala". The person was a chronic liar and was almost living a double life. What I noticed is that sociopaths cannot seem to maintain lasting relationships (romance, friendships, work etc). Sociopaths are incapable of empathy, all their actions are always for their own benefit. It's always about them.

BTW During the wake of him Mom, I cannot help but cringe because he kept on talking about himself about how HE was hurting, about how HE was so mad at the hospital. There was no actual talk about his Mom or the feeling of his family

Yes, cut ties i did! It was hard because i grew up with that person but these types don't know boundaries nor remorse so you really have to draw the line. Kaya when i read about that dude you're describing, all the warning bells are ringing.

I have not even told half of the story but his family is now divided because of him and they have lawyers on both sides now He has his Dad on his side kasi. But it seems like these sociopaths are unaware of their evil. It's just the way they are. Gusto ko sana intindihin but it becomes toxic.

They must be all sociopaths? It makes me wonder if it has to do with how the person was raised that developed this mental condition. The manipulative guy's family is still moneyed but he is not working and he is just waiting for his inheritance. Nauubos ang pera so I worry for him when his Dad goes. It's the Dad that has the connections. It's always so tragic when a person has to adjust to a lower standard of living.
