so will this 15 minutes be my 15 minutes of fame?

Kung sasama ang ilan o ang karamihan, saan ang meeting place? Pag nagkataon, first time akong makakasama sa EB thru K Forum. Pwede kasi akong dumaan doon bukas on my way home.

don't look now guys, but i read in a tabloid today that Mr. Planas is flying daw to the US to talk to Bush. di daw sya pinapakinggan ni GMA.

So the question is: will he show up at the Khaos event? if he does, that means his US trip was a lie. if he is not there at the Khaos event, he won't be able to answer all the questions.

its either that or he will fly in and out of the country. or he will go to the US after the event. in any case, i wonder what Bush will tell him hehehe

btw, if you saw Fahrenheit 9-11, you know that George Bush was once a president of his own oil drilling firm. so i don't really know what his reaction to Khaos will be, assuming maguusap nga talaga sila.

Actually I read in the Manila Bulletin today that ex-president Bush and Swazenager is meeting Planas in regards to the Khaos device.

I guess the Terminator needs a Khaos for his Hummer...

    May suggestion ako...

Instead of trying to have a debate with a seemingly planned marketing day for Khaos, why not just print out leaflets (1 ream, RISO - mura lang naman eh) posting OUR version of FAQ dispelling Khaos' claims, hand it out sa mga nakapark o pupunta beforehand...

That way, it'll be a feat for them to manually collect the document from each attendant... and maybe- just maybe, others will ask those questions.... At least make them (potential buyers) think twice before purchasing that stupid gadget.

Im sure you guys can make a flyer that LOOKS LIKE it's marketing the product (some catchy phrases before the actual content, use their fonts/colour scheme, etc)

I mean, if you call your product a "gadget" hehe... case closed.

Given the khaos*metrowalk event is primarily to launch the "khaos for motorcycles" gadget, here is an interesting bit of info:

    http://www.jpcycles.com/Tech/Articles/enginebreak.aspx

    Carburetion

Another way to offset heat in a new engine is with slightly rich carburetor jetting. Richer mixtures burn cooler. Conversely, a carb with a lean mixture can destroy new pistons (as well as a few older ones), because lean jetting will cause the mixture in the combustion chamber to burn "hotter." If there is any question about the carb's fuel/air mixture, remember that it is better to jet slightly rich than too lean. The rich/lean question is especially critical for engines that are equipped with sophisticated high performance carburetors. Frequently these types of carbs, especially when installed on high performance, big inch H-D engines, have leaner jetting for optimum performance. If you have made some performance changes in your engine and intend to use the stock carb, always check the jetting. If you are going to use an aftermarket carburetor; find out what jetting is installed. Inform the carb manufacturer about your engine modifications, and then ask their recommendations about jetting. Ask if they have actually performed tests using their carburetors on engines similar to yours. Obviously, you don't want your newly assembled 96 cubic inch Evo Sidewinder to be their "guinea pig." A meticulously assembled engine, even with proper break-in procedures, will be ruined quickly with too lean a carburetor jetting. Be certain of your carb and its jetting so it won't be a problem during and after break-in.

I am thinking we will be seeing more damaged motorcycles soon.
