i agree with ghosthunter that this is a publicity gig for khaos .. i doubt we'll be in a position to dispell any of their claims .. feeling ko malakas loob nila na maghamon .. if we don't take up the challenge .. lalabas puro hot air lang yung tsikot ... but if we do ... i don't know if a Q&A portion will be enough ... i'm sure meron na silang canned answers sa mga questions natin that will show results opposite to what was posted by others here ... we bring out somebody that would say it wrecked his engine, they'll bring in 2 which says it did wonders ... which will only give them more credibility ... i don't think they'll post their answers here ... wala naman silang makukuhang mileage if they post here ... how many people out there get to read their ads ... and how many people out there get to read this forum ... why would they waste their energies on us ...

sabi nila may testing involved during the khaos forum ... i'm sure scripted din yon ... the only way we can prove/disprove any of their claims is if there is a credible independent body that can test this thing ... hindi yung mga car owner testimonials lang ... no offense to those who have posted their results ... i think you're more credible than planas ... but it just won't fly ... so we're in a damn if we do, damn if we don't situation ... either magmukha tayong duwag, or magmukha tayong tanga ... ouch ... i think if we can have our results published, then mas tataas yung credibility factor natin ... much better if car dealerships can back up our results ...

basta... kung wala silang way to measure NOx & A/F ratio, all their test are hogwash.

hmmm ... sabagay ... tama naman si mazdamazda ... yung issues lang naman natin really ... is NOx emissions ... and how in blue blazes does it measure A/F ratio ... alam naman natin na makakatipid naman ng gas pag lean burn ... pero at the cost of NOx and overheating ... at wala naman ki-ni-claim yung khaos na super turbo charger siya kahit na yun pa yung pangalan niya ... i guess hindi naman pala tayo mag-mu-mukhang tanga if we ask smart questions ... sabi nga nila .. the only dumb question is the one not asked ... if they have smart answers ... eh di good for them ... i'd hate to give them more publicity for it though ...

by the way... why don't you invite the top honchos of vehicle manufacturers in the Philippines?

let them have a piece of their mind about the so-called engine "defect" that the KSTC is trying to "cure".

Scary part is that in media gigs as such they only entertain 1 or 2 questions per guest so not all of questions will get asked.

Of course expect that there will be planted guests who will be all praises as well as those whose questions are already answered in their website's FAQ as means to use up the clock.

Therefore either a lot should be there to ask questions or select the most decisive questions: like auto warranty being voided if device is installed (only counter to this is a signed statement by local authorized distributors of the car companies).

Another question would there really be an effect on performance in injected engines as the computer may simply detect the increased air intake and adjust the system to the default values; unlike in carb engines (old cars) which do not have air sensors.

Maybe the device might increase air intake at low RPMs but probably this is only applicable in traffic infested areas as oxygen rich mixture is probably the norm when the pedal is on the metal. I would like to know if a fuel rich mixture (typical at idle and low speeds) really protects an engine that typically is stuck in traffic or snail-paced speeds as I doubt if car makers designed their engines to run at 10-30 kph.

Because if all the device does is increase air intake... then it has no real effect once the car reaches recommended cruising speed (where air:fuel mix is ideal).

In the past, I did get to try an air intake device that got air from the exhaust manifold and gated it into the intake portion of the carb. I noted that the car was definitely a bit more responsive. As to fuel savings well I really can't say because the extra pep needed getting used to stepping lightly on the gas pedal. My driving 2 vehicles thus ended up not really adjusting to stepping lightly. hehehehe

As for gas savings, I could not really say as my fuel guage was not that sensitive and moreover, traffic fluctuations basically makes detecting fuel savings hard to track.

On a lighter note, one of my former maid's son's drives a taxi cab. They got to try out the khaos on his cab unit but had it returned after not noticing any fuel savings. Other drivers from their cab company also had their units returned. His unit is the 1.3 98 or 99 model corolla. I have no idea if it is carb fed or injected. Also he has a jack-rabbit driving habit typical of a fast-paced cabbie.

I guess fuel savings is only met if one adapts and steps lightly on the gas pedal. But this device is probably just for carb engines which do not have air sensors. But if one is rarely stuck in traffic, you probably will not see any fuel savings.

So maybe Planas' trip to California will not be as productive as desired as unlike Philippine traffic heavy traffic in the US means lots of cars running at 35-40 mph. Tests there are likely tol show little or no performance/ fuel saving gain.

Hopefully a lot wil show up for the test so they can put up or hush up. ;)

I hope my 2 cents helped.

I already expected that... that's why I think the khaos event at the metrowalk is a big waste of personal time.

Guys, samahan naman natin si GhostHunter kung pupunta siya. Moral support at para maraming witnesses sa response ng Khaos.

Kazuya, can GhostHunter exclusively be given 15 minutes for question and answer? Baka sayang lang punta namin dun kung 2 questions lang allowed per person.
