But these people I know who share a condo, wala silang auto. Kasi they rent condos that are close enough for them to walk to work.
May I ask if do you know kung malayo ba yung place between your friend’s house sa work niya?

Wala po kasi patutunguhAn...I cannot win this argument unless I reveal to prove myself in person which, wala akong plano

All these people have no cars and share a condo with more than 2 people:

Friend's GF - 1 building away (office niya - building - condo niya)
Former Manager - beside the office (katabi talaga ng building naman yung condo niya)
Former officemate - same building as former manager but different condomates
Friend - less than 1 kilometer
BFF - 3 kilometers. 4 sila sa 2 BR condo. Yung isang condomate niya may kotse so she uses that slot.

Those are the people I can think of off the top of my head.

Malakas eh. Pero sige stick sa topic.

Thanks sa mga nagbigay ng advice. Appreciate that

I’m trying to justify lang if walking distance lang yung home to office then wise pa rin ba dalhin ung car sa manila... I know pede ako gumala after office hours pero I doubt na maximized yung usage ng car and baka sa umpisa lang ako excited to drive the car.

BTW, sa mga car owners, would you rather commute or drive when travelling to these locations:
    A. Makati to eastwood and vice versa
    B. Makati to BGC and vice versa
    C. BGC to Megamall and vice versa
    D. Makati to provinces given na may option to commute via bus

Seriously.... bedspace????

    Budol-budol ka ata.
You don't have to be so confrontational. Secondly, you're making accusations based on assumptions and not hard evidence.

look for and rent, a condo or townhouse, and garage slot. they do not always come as a set.
or look for a small house and lot, with garage.
some buildings do not allow rental of garage slot, if rentee does not reside in their building.
the most influential aspect of renting, is LOCATION.

but if you are planning to stay long, might i suggest, buy one.
you can always rent it out, should you choose to relocate later.

    btw,
let your plans simmer for a few weeks or months..
    baka takaw-tingin lang yan.
    "it works for me."

    good luck.

Ask your current landlord baka may alam sya. Malay mo, may space sya sa bahay nya na pwede ipa rent.

Seems you have the talent and earning capacity to save 3m. If i were you, I would buy a condo first. Its much easier to buy a car after you have secured your home and a parking space for it. Besides i am assuming your earning power will improve as time goes by.

The price inflation of condos and other properties > your salary increase > car price increase.

Use that equation to guide you. While your money can still make a major dent in a property purchase, i would go that route. Cars can follow as you can easily afford them afterwards.

    Can you share your experiences?
