hi, im a student and i would like to make a survey re PRC=professional regulation commisson

sa mga naka borded exam what can you say about the PRC ? any comments or suggestions inregards with the flow,accessibility,facilities ,etc, thanks

money, if you have that you can pass any board exams that they are giving..

I know someone personally, who acquired a doctor's license from them for 20k...they just inserted his name to tha board passers....

the funny thing is he didn't even took any medical courses, and to prove that his license is legit, he just renewed it this year....

yung kakilala ko nga na chinese citizen nakakuha ng ECE license sa PRC na hindi naman dapat (foreign reciprocity law)....... pera pera lang

hmm di naman siguro Louisian yang kilala mo 'no? kasi may kilala rin akong ganun pero I don't think na kinailangan nyang magbayad para lisensya n'ya kung pagbabasehan yung kakayahan nya.

The PRC is your typical slow, inefficient, corrupt government agency. Some of their cars wear BOTH red AND green plates. Ano yun? hahaha.

Lines can get long and may mga staff na dapat siguro sa palengke na lang sila magtrabaho kasi walang modo talaga. I even got into a shouting match with one. Nung hinihingi ko ang pangalan sinabi kong ipapa-CSC (Civil Service Commission) ko siya, biglang nawala ang mokong.

In fairness, may mga accomodating naman na tao doon kahit wala ako kakilala sa PRC. But the system they are working in really is not the most streamlined.

The building itself is run down and dirty. There's no parking anywhere (the PRC vehicles are illegally parked on the street). And the instructions on the forms can get confusing.

PRC?hmm..well nung nag apply kami for board exams halos buong araw ata kami. Tapos dun sa pag file ng requirements may matandang babae dun na naninigaw (scary), lalo na pag may kulang ka or something. Karamihan ng staff masungit,ewan ko ba..tapos nagrequire ng envelop na may selyo na para imail ung result, wala naman ako natanggap..

Pero sabi ng barkada ko may express lane na daw for renewal?from 8am-12noon daw? totoo ba?

buti na lang maayos sila sa Baguio.
Nga lang sana medyo lumawak pa ang offices nila kasi, tuwing pupunta ako (every 3 years) e andaming mga nanggagaling pa from as far as Laoag.

Bakit kaya kailangan pa natin irenew ang license natin every 3yrs?Once lang naman tayo nagtake ng board exam?

Expired na pala license ko, magkano penalty kapag marenew ako this month?Last May pa expired..

ako rin di ko na narenew since '96 di ko rin naman nagamit sa overseas yan may penalty ba kung matagal di nairenew?

Next year pa ako magpaparenew. Pang 3rd renewal ko na. Iba na yata process ngayon kelangan online account na bago pumunta sa prc .

You can renew anytime. Just pay the corresponding penalty. I renewed mine after 20 years as it is now required by the board of accountancy.

One of my siblings has to accumulate some number/level of points before the renewal can be given....

PICPA (ket daw) ang nagbibigay ng seminar-points at may boses sa ganitong requirement sa inyong grupo?

I tried renewing my PRC license a few months ago, through the SM counters,- na-reject ako... wala raw silang makitang record.....

Tama bro. May required CPD credits. Had to crash 8 days of seminar worth P30K just to earn those. May NBI clearance pa, certificate of employment ek ek na notarized, etc. Etc. Hay naku, ilang years na ako pumipirma ng FS ngayon lang hinahanapan ng certification.

*Papi: I filed online first and went to PRC Manila on the designated date. Queue was long and took me almost 4 hours to finish. Photocopy your documents and consider taking uber or a cab. Parking is not an option.
