+1 for replacement with the speakers. i doubt maibalik pa sa original ang timbre nung speakers kung repaired lang. baka sub standards lang ang ipalit sa voice coil or foam surround.

kung mahal ang speakers, at mura ang repair, i'd chance at repair first.
kung mura ang speakers, palit na lang.
how mahal is mahal? that would depend on your and my wallet.

What do you guys think about people with gold colored phones? Smart replaced my black S5 under warranty with a gold one. Now the only S7 Edge they have available is gold again. Hayyy.
