    yung plug lang?
if it's one-piece molded construction, it might be waterproof and may still be use-able.
bring it to a friendly electrician, po. let him decide...

My (t)rusty old ratchet, the one I've been using for the past 30+ years, the one given to me by my dad when I was still a kid, has finally fallen apart.

On the bright side - I get to shop (one of the few times this activity would excite me) for tools!

Easy and not that expensive. 2000 pesos for a pair for hyundais. Alignment need after replacement.

Btt: nasira tulog ko. 3hr sleep and people started calling .. sheesh.

Since out of warranty na note4 ko and I got a lot of time in my hands, I decided to root my Note 4. Nag boot loop. Hahaha, panic mode.

Good thing naayos naman after few hours. I'm already thinking of reasons to say to my wife. Ihuhulog ko na sana sa hagdan para sabihin na physical damage at hindi sa kalokohan ko. Haha

Rechargeable electric fan ng bunso ko. Wouldn't charge but will turn on if plugged in to the usb charger.

Turned out to be just loose solder of the battery's negative terminal. Phew. All fixed now.

    1. 32" Sony Bravia LED TV. Screen looks like watching in 3D without the glasses. TV is barely 4 years old.

    2. Microwave oven won't heat up food anymore.

It's like these appliances know that it's Christmas time...

Yung mga 3D models ang mahal ng price ng parts. Konti na lang additional bagong basic unit na. Dapat siguro naka surge protector ang mga modern TVs, lalo na yung mga maraming features like android, smart, 3d etc.

Try to get an inverter microwave. Pricey but it lasts much longer. Also gives you more control over temperature.

They don't make Sony like they used to. Our Sony Trinitron is more than 25 yrs old and it's still working! We're still using it until now.

    "made in japan" then.
almost everything is made in china now.

i have brought our trinitron to the sony repair shop several times already. minor repairs lang naman. it has been with us for about 20 years now.

9.7k for repairs due to defective LCD panel. I won't have it repaired anymore that's for sure.

CRT TVs are apparently sturdier than the flat sceeens of today. Our 21" CRT TV lasted at least a decade before there was any noticeable degradation in picture quality. Gobbles up electricity in comparison though.

Good thing I spied a Sony Service Center in Finance Dr., Madrigal. Will take it there over the weekend.

*dr. d Any idea how much these minor repairs cost? I'm thinking there's just some loose connections inside because the picture tends to fluctuate from normal to eggplant purple to Hulk green every few seconds.

the TV cost 25K, when we bought it back in the 90s. made in japan pa siya.
it malfunctioned after 8 or 10 years.
brought to the official sony fixit shop, yung switch lang ang sira. cheap lang.
the other times, some electronic parts inside. less than 2K, every time.
and when its dedicated remote died, the replacement still had to be imported and cost a whopper. i opted for a cheaper non-dedicated remote that was on display, still fully compatible remote. cheap lang.

ok naman magnetic bro, mas madali gamitin.
gamit ko 2 pcs magkatabi na ganito, para kahit ano klase lubak di nalaglag yun phone. though 1 is enough naman para sa xperia c5 ultra (6" phone)

The ones sold in Lazada, though unbranded, works great. Firm grip on the phone and the slot. I don't use it much though coz it's in the way of the aircon vents so my phone ends up getting ice cold.

My phone's 5 inches and it seems that's the limit of the clamp.

been browsing at lazada, dami! i guess aircon vents wouldn't be an issue with mine either with portrait or landscape, though i need which one have vertical/height adjustments at least.
    thanks!

Ako tinapat ko talaga sa vents. Kasi mobile data, bluetooth, nakacharge, naka on lang screen, tapos tapat pa sa araw. Minsan pati hotspot nakaopen din. iinit talaga phone. Kaya ok na nasa aircon
