    There could be some truth to the whole fengshui thing...but maybe also because maselan ang panlasa ng mga tsinoy. Joke na nung isang kaibigan ko, pag pinoy, konting toyo, konting vetsin, ok na, pag tsinoy andaming reklamo :D

    For that matter, Jollibee may not offer the best deal, value-wise. For the same kind of money you can get a better deal at Chuan Kee(part of my bucket list), Maxim's,etc. And, well, you're in Chinatown, corny naman kung magja jollibee ka diba?

    Going back to topic...i don't see how internet cafes can make money these days, with rentals as low as 15, 20 pesos/hour, samantalang anlaki ng overhead mo sa aircon/kuryente pa lang. imho you're better off putting up a coffee shop, or maybe even a photocopying center.

    Ewan ko kung bakit..one of my dreams is to own a small sari sari store/resto near my old school. i'd probably go bankrupt though :D

    Ukay ukay shops seem to be sprouting up on every corner, though i have no idea how they make money. Is it because their cost of goods is very low?

    Good one, pero ang tanong sino ang bibili ng turkey sa Pinas?

    I started a kambing farm with the big breeds sa probinsya. But the folks don't want to buy the big animals, di raw nila mauubos! Yun, I ended up with the native.

    Mabubuhay ka pa sa 20 pesos/hour. I already did the math dati and Php15 is pretty much the lowest you can go that you can still round by 5. In fact, some internet cafes in Davao are on Php10/hour pa nga.

    Not all internet cafes are airconditioned anyway. The lower priced ones can't afford that luxury.. usually wise air circulation lang yan using fans.

    I'm lately intrigued by HyvE's profit margin actually.. I might do a computation one of these days with Coke cans costing Php250 and bottled water at Php110, I think a 30% net profit margin seems likely. I dunno what to plug as a variable sa weekday revenues nila though.. less 20% than weekends maybe? I usually go on Fridays/Saturdays so I'm counting more or less on 90% capacity.

    It's time that religion come's into our business sense. It's in the Bible, Alpha & Omega
    or the beginning and the end.

    Motel = Beginning

    Funeral Parlor = The End

    Garantisadong patok na business ventures yan.

    AMEN !

    Car dealer... like Toyota...

    Or pawnshop... Hanap ka lang ng location na madaming low income earners like brgy holy spirit in Q.C....

    Or sales and service ng power generators.. Between 10kva up to 750kva dapat lang madami kayong stocks...
