misconception yun sabihin lagi na food business ang pinakamaganda. just like any business maraming factors will come into play. mas mahirap pa nga food kasi sa umpisa pa lang pag hindi pinatronize patay kaagad. talo kaagad.

Kaya naman kasi nasabi na ang best business ay sa food dahil ang tao hindi mabubuhay pag hindi kumain. Siguro ang dapat gawin, enter food business pero maging innovative.

Right now, I'm thinking to venture into another business at nag-iisip din ako kung ano maganda. Ang styro industry kasi ay pababa, salamat sa mga walang kwentang taong nag-iisip na styro ang dahilan ng mga baha dito.

Tingin ninyo, is car accessories shop, auto supply, motor parts supply, talyer ay effective businesses pa ba ngayon?

i think food business is still a good venture, pero:

    1. matrabaho -- esp. if you're in the full service restaurant business. Esp. now when people go to eat at, say Jollibee, and expect full resto service.
    2. very low barriers of entry -- i.e. madaling gayahin

Pork BBQ, Chicken BBQ ala carte. (nasa de padyak na sidecar)

I've seen these at high foot traffic areas, i.e. jeepney terminals, main street corners ... palaging ubos ang paninda!

    karamihan naman sa food business...

    medyo maliit ang income dyan...

then sobra sobra pa ang pagod mo...

Mag ahente nalang kayo... need nyo nga lang contacts... mas kikita pa kayo ng malaki...

just look for the right product at the right time...

dapat jack of all trades kayo...

at dapat sa big time kayo naka concentrate...

IMO if you have the CONTACTS... its the best bus....

Some industries will boom. Some industries are cyclical.

However, there's no "maganda" business or pangit. There's only businesses that's either profitable or not and that is dependent on your choices as an entrepreneur.

Everything else is relative naman kasi eh. Low barriers of entry = more competition. Higher barriers of entry = less competition but more monetary risks. There's no such thing as a bad business, there's only bad management. Ika nga, kung kaya ng iba kumita ng pera, why not me?

The comp shop industry has evolved to using PXE boot to manage down costs per unit. You might want to check that out. As usual of the industry, you won't really be competitive if you start paying for licenses *cough*

^^ yung friend ko sinubukan yan dati. He setup a kiosk then let it run for year or so. Next year, open na siya for franchise then sa mga go negosyo expo. His items sold like hotcakes. Lahat may percentage siya... Raw material, tao, cart, gross... Lahat may royalty or kita and Bawal kumuha sa iba.

Hindi ko lang kaya gawin yung ganon but in all honesty, it's a good plan.
