December 28th, 2010 12:03 PM #1I passed thru the skyway just this morning and saw this accident; the driver lost control when the brakes failed, 2 were killed.... The ambulance was a Subic Mitsubishi Delica 4WD (probably converted)...

Kawawa naman, dapat kapag ganyan mga ambulansiya, laging in good condition...anyhow, RIP na lang.

just read an update sa inquirer.net, 3 na po ang patay, including the patient to be transported to another hospital

If his brakes failed .. he would've "engine-braked" the thing down to a safe and sane velocity for him to apply the emergency handbrake. The toll plaza can be seen several kilometers away, even if its an ambulance, drivers must still exercise caution, and brake early. Not leave it to "bahala na!"
I think he was just plain reckless.

Dapat di ba bumagal ka pag nasa toll plaza, anticipate traffic/stop at toll.
Di naman nya ginawa.
Excuse lng yun na nawalang ng preno. Actually, nagpreno sya, pero sa sobrang bilis, di na sya umabot.
