After DOTA, Barangay in Cavite Bans FPS Games - When In Manila

After banning DOTA from computer shops in Barangay Salawag in Dasmarinas, Cavite, the Barangay Council allegedly passed another resolution that bans first person shooter (FPS) games in their area. FPS games are the likes of Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) and Crossfire.

According to inquirer.net’s post regarding the ordinance, which is dated January 19, 2015, FPS games are banned from computer shops due to their “bad influence to the youth in the sense that it makes them violent and makes them lie, steal (and possibly kill) so that they can play the game.”

The penalties for violating the ordinance are as follows:

1st offense: One-month suspension of shop
2nd offense: Revocation of business permit
3rd offense: Permanent closure of the shop and shop will never be granted permit

Sobra nga naman murahan at away dyan sa mga computer shop. Makapagmura parang walang bukas. I think its like playing basketball na may nakatayang pera pero walang referee or officials na magpapanatili ng peace. Tapos tago pa sa loob ng shop. Syempre away yan. Kahit sa garena, hayop sa trash talk at mura pag pinoy kalaban mo.

The hell with banning PC games. Eh matindi pa kami nung bago pa ang DOTA 10 years ago. Murahan kaming lahat sa shop pero that's all for fun and nothing personal. Pero itong barangay somewhere in Cavite eh sobrang KJ. Hirap sa kanila, ang inaatake nila ay yun dulo ng problema at hindi yun puno ng problema. The hell with them...

How I wish na sana nga pwede... kung pwede the author/s of that stupid ordinances should be banned as well for re-election. Wala na sigurong matitirang tongresmen sa house of rep. LOL

ang nakakatawa nyan, ang parusa e 1 month suspension (1st offense) pero sa totoo lang sa pag-ban nila ng dota at FPS, para na din nilang pinatay ang business ng mga taong yan. kawawa naman ang Pinas
