does it look like this? low rider and tawag nila dito, di ko alam sa pinas, but i remember owning one.

Nope, only the frame and bench-seat is similar. The handle bars are positioned waaaay lower. We did not use wheel covers because they were un-cool. As for the chain covers, some used them, some did not.

tama, ganyan ang frame, seat, pero mas maliit yung handle bars. aluminum wheelcovers, no chain covers, at least yung sa akin.

don't forget the tassels on the handlebars or the little bell that goes "kring-kring"
max, taga LA ka diba? tingin ka sa recycler o sa local papers...maraming shops sa east LA ang gumagawa ng lowrider bikes...maybe they can custom-make something to your specs.

m54, nakita ko na online yung mga lowrider dito, check ko one day. ayoko lang mapagkamalan cholo, baka ma baril pa ako ng di oras. i re replicate ko yung bike ko noon (mostly aluminum vs chrome), i check ko rin kung pwede gamitin yung batalya ng mtn bike ko (seat, handlebar, sissy bar, tires lang papalitan).
asan pa yung mga kaidad natin? hehehe
salamat sa ideas.

ang naalala ko lang noon late 80's bike ko BMX na may shock absorber saka ilaw na kumukuha ng power sa rear tire hehehe
