BS! - The increased electricity used by modern appliances is causing a shift in the Earth's magnetic field. By the year 2327, the North Pole will be located in mid-Kansas, while the South Pole will be just off the coast of East Africa.

FACT - The magnetic poles naturally move, that is why there are new navigation charts issued every few years to correct for the displacement of the poles. That is also why Siberia a few thousand years ago was tropical and not frigid as it is today, since a big difference in the position of the magnetic poles and the true poles can cause the earth to wobble and change it's axis of rotation.


BS! - Human saliva has a boiling point three times that of regular water.

FACT - Saliva is 99.9% water and its boiling point is only a few degrees higher.


BS! - Due to the natural "momentum" of the ocean, saltwater fish cannot swim backwards.

FACT - Obviously the author does not watch Animal Planet, National Geographic and Discovery Channel. Coral fishes can and do swim backwards, as many other salt water fishes.

--you need live skin for skin grafts although i remember in surgery class that cadaver skin can be used as a wound dressing.
