Not all diamonds are South African. And there is a ban on the trade of "Conflict" Diamonds.
I bought my wife a diamond engagement ring, but not because of the diamonds, but because it was cute... six tiny diamonds (0.33+ carat total, 0.06+/- each) in the shape of a butterfly set in white gold. If you buy one with medium grade (i.e.: not perfect) diamonds, it isn't any more expensive than other ridiculously expensive jewelry... I'm stunned that there are silver bangles that cost more... brand names, eh! Who needs brand name jewelry?
I've never believed in jewelry as an investment. I just buy it sometimes (e.g.: rarely) because it makes my wife look good.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

January 10th, 2006 06:48 PM #7actually for me, jewelry is one of the best investment. especially diamonds comparing sa gold. binenta ng uncle ko ang mga diamonds nya yung 90's sa mom ko worth 300k. nangailangan ng money ang mom ko, binenta nya and it's worth 1.2million. and in case of emergency, pwede mo isangla ang mga jewelry like gold and diamond anytime....yah, pwedeng mas mababa but pwede din mataas ang sangla....i just think it has a consistent amount of investment....

Mas tradable ang gold, kaya nga may index sya sa world market, diamond wala.
3M Color Stable series are all above 50% TSER. RFID readable through the tint, stays good for...
