Oo nga-RH drive..Im here in Japan. The Mini Cooper (my Babes) is a 96 mod,35th Anniv edition,SPI.

nice to hear from you batman! pasensya ka na malabo na mata ng lolo mo di ko napansin! its good na may nagpopost na naman ulit dito para naman mabuhay ang mga mini lovers. so guys post na ulit kayo ng post para maging active tayo! kung may mga inquiries kayo isa na si batman for sure ang makakasagot sa mga tanong nyo.

Thanks Kamoteman- pero mas maganda sa iyo dahil naka13 na wheels mo eh. Uy- magkakulay ata tayo,hehehe. Oo nga, medyo madalang ang bumibisita ata sa forum.Mabuti pa umpisahan ko na ng tanong.can I put an engine with m/t into an a/t subframe? Medyo matagal ng nakaparada ung isang mini eh- sayang naman, kinakalawang na ata. Actually nasagot na ni Esarc ito- just for a second opinion(and 2 heads better than one). Sige thanks.

Naisalpak ko na ung 1000cc manual engine sa Mayfair w/ matic subframe. Ok ito..I just put spacers on both sides of the mountings..5mm ang kapal ng spacer. Thanks to Esarc and Batman.

i learned my lesson about not messing with mini coopers at the twisties. i was on my way to lake tahoe and passed a mini coopers S at a long ascending straightaway. once we got to the winding roads, it was over...for me . he must have been driving at least 60MPH at the twisties. i tried keeping up, but my FXT was not suited for such roads.

Sorry, cant answer that..kasi noong nabili ko ung Mayfair na a/t nasira kaagad ang transmission kaya di ko naramdaman talaga ang pagdrive sa matic na mini. Though my daily ride is a matic Mazda, I really can't compare. Si Esarc meron sya, maybe we can ask him.

Pretty much the same as the manual. Hindi nga lang ganun kabilis pumickup o mag accelerate, mine being a 998A+. May 'jerk' akong nararamdaman sa engine whenever I shift from neutral to forward or backward. I guess it's normal for matic engines.

But talk about comfort and convenience, man, it's excellent! You can actually drive on a hand and a foot. (...the left hand, that is)

I haven't had a month since I mounted the engine, but I calculate that it'd be more thrifty on gas consumption. Maybe because my tendency to "birit" the car everytime was eliminated.

sobrang ok...I have one ngayon and sobrang ok talaga it's very
responsive no complaints whatsoever..

Hello mga sirs. I'm looking for a mini myself. My girlfriend has been wanting one like Mr. Bean daw. No idea where and what to look for first. Parts? San makakahanap? Is it better to find a used cooper and put it back into shape or find a restored one? How much is the budget by the way?
