vince pasensya na at nung nagresize ako ng pic ganyan kaliit lumabas.

di ko alam kung ano difference nung naka 12 kasi when i got my mini after a week pinasok ko na agad sa shop for total make-over! di ko na din alam kung ano porma ko kasi sportspack nga yung flares ko pero yung mags hindi. sabi ko sa sarili ko "express your own na lang"!

Here's my 2 cents worth... 998cc was in production until 1992. 1275cc came out again in 1990 up to 2000, in injection and carb fed until 1995. UK models have higher compression ratios as compared to the Japs...Please beware now. Mainit ngayon mga autoridad sa minis dahil sa mga nahuli sa pier ( nasa bulletin today at phil star today na mag hihigpit sila sa mga imptd cars lalo na sa mga shwrms... lagot yang mga nasa autocamp jap cebu origins ), ingat ka sa mga papel lalo na sa mga binuhay as in reincarnated. Mga dead files na sinikwat sa LTO. Sa mga jap minis, better check mga transmission, kadalasan kumakalas at sabog mga suspension at kuba tumayo. Wala pa din tatalo sa UK version kung san TALAGA ito nagmula. Hope this adds to your ???.

I never knew this... all along akala ko pareho lang ng compression ratio wherever the mini came from. Thanks sir wanker.

If I may be educated further... what should be the compression ratio of a jap mini and the UK mini? I have recently installed an '89 engine, how could i determine its compression ratio?

I just wonder, bakit kaya nila pinag-iba pa ang compression ratio kung pareho naman sa UK galing?

sakin sa tingin ko kaya higher ang compression ratio ng galing UK kasi walng aircon ang mga mini dun unlike sa Japan meron kaya mas hirap ang makina. (di ko alam kung tama ang pinagsasabi ko!)

I was told low comp ang jap version because jap versions are aircond-ready units para hindi pwersado ang makina. Also, sa injected minis, kakaiba ang ECU ng jap version over the rest. Try driving side by side, iba humatak ang non-jap sa euro specs. You can check talagang malaki difference up to the mk 7's. ng jap- naka twin point inj pero side mounted pa din radiator di gaya ng euro na front mounted radiator na!

I checked also the VIN in which the 11th letter indicates the assembly plant "D" for Longbridge (in U.K. not in Japan). yung gagawin sa covers mo papalitan ng pure leather or halo with synthetic leather. yung sakin pure leather it cost 39K pag combination 28K. yup size 13 na mags ko.

regarding dun sa seats, pinalitan mismo yung buong cover ng seats from fabric to leather and kasama lahat pati likod. dun sa mags nagbawas ako ng fender kasi malapad yung rims ko 7" wide kaya talagang sasayad.
