April 6th, 2010 05:01 PM #1Do the W124 estates have a fender indicator lights (cheeck lights) saw some pics with indicators but mine has none. Mine is a 1988 230TE euro version. And anyone can help me find this trim? Ang hirap kasi hanapin e. saw 1 sa sunshine motors but driverside lang meron sila.

I believe the fender (cheek) lights are standard to 1990's-newer 124 estates.... same goes with body claddings. You can always convert your with it if you can find a fresh surplus fenders with the fender lights. =D

Fender lights are not standard on all units (including U.S. versions).
They are, however, required in some European markets and in Japan.

April 6th, 2010 06:40 PM #4Ahh thanks for the quick reply... Nakaka challenge naman magkaron ng MB... lagi kang may hinahanap na parts... another thing, what are the possible problems pag bumabagsak na yung tailgates and and hinid na gumagana yung lock assist? =)

That's what I thought too. Same with the other MB models.
Tail gate struts might be bad, same with close assist. It makes sense. If the tail gate keeps slamming on the lock, the close assist gets damaged. Struts are on the roof, just right in front of the tail gate hinges, above the headliner.
