VIN Decode W123

Can somebody help decode a W123 (recently purchased) with the following VIN? I tried the Russian site but got very limited information. Thanks in advance.

If its a CMC model, nothing will come out. :D

This is what I got. I am just confused because I thought W123 300D US models started 1977 while this (based on the CR) is 1976. Also, there is very little information, or is that the case for much older mercs?

Maybe a typo error on the part of LTO?

Would you believe that my W124 300E has 4 cylinders on its original CR.
