November 18th, 2009 07:51 AM #3Hi Afrasay,
The mechanic at CATS told me it can't be opened and repaired. Their estimate is about P95K for a new replacement. I checked ebay and came across Pam's Auto in the US selling a used throttle valve for about $150 with lifetime warranty. Unfortunately they don't have any in stock right now.
At any rate, I will try to contact Ricky Chua. Thanks so much for the reply. Much appreciated.

95k!!! Give this guy a call - etoy 09166816177. If your e240 engine is of the same lineage as the M111, then maybe it is still repairable. You're welcome sir.
