[SIZE=3]200-400 thou. is enough for W124, W201 or W123 (1994 and below) models(check out wikipedia and have an idea how they look like). Just search around the net or Buy & Sell or Car Finder, tsikot.com or sulit.com.
Which model? Ahh the price will depend on the condition of the car. You can find a P200k W124 260E(6 cylinders fuel injection), but who knows what's the real condition of that.
The W124 sedan would be the best buy for your budget. Its the best M.Benz in terms of durability, design & technology (as per info i got). Guys here helped me acquire one. Im pretty happy with my purchase.
I suggest do your research & ask around.
Cheers.
Goodluck on your search & purchase!
*Benzmizer, lowslowbenz, afrasay et.al meron na naman nagpapatulong dito. Show him the way sirs!

July 24th, 2009 07:35 PM #3200K should get you the best w123's and maybe 190E's, going up to 250k, it should land you a decent w124. At 300k, it should get you a 90's w124(the one with the two tone body cladding) But keep in mind that you should budget at least 50k for repairs. Last year I got a 1990 260SE W126 for 220k, but I spent another 100k for various repairs such as a new radiator, complete suspension overhaul and replacing various seals in the engine to deal with oil leaks

+1 to Ron's post.
And not all cheaply-priced MB are "cheap".... not with tons of undisclosed repairs. Sometimes a fairly priced high MB may just turn out to be "cheap" in the long run when properly maintained by it's owner.
You got PM.

They say that the most expensive pre-owned Mercedes Benz is the cheapest one.
There are good condition W124s that can be bought for 400T. Your budget would be fine for a 1994-1995 E220 W124.

Busdriver,
1994 E220s at 400T range would probably need some repairs. I would be willing to pay the premium price for a well cared for used Benz.

August 1st, 2009 09:44 AM #9I'd take a good look at 89-92 300D W124s -- they're built like tanks, and have very good diesel efficiency too....just have your technician with you when you test drive.....
3M Color Stable series are all above 50% TSER. RFID readable through the tint, stays good for...
What's the best car tint brand and color?
