you mentioned after a minute the indicator goes on, the motor starts then dies afterwards.. first of.. you "may" have problem with your glow plug if you are having cold start problems.. BUT.. if your engine dies after having it started, then you may have other issues like fuel delivery issues since your engine doesnt stay running.. get the glow plugs tested first, to eliminitate that problem... its easy if you can access it... use an ohm meter and test if you have busted plugs... replace if found to be busted..

as for the dying engine after it started.. eliminate the small possible culprits... low/no fuel, clogged fuel filters, dying fuel pump... when was the last time you replaced your primary filters (does the MB van have two filters?) if you dont know when it was last replaced, replace them...this may just be a simple matter of fuel starvation due to clogged filters.

good day po new here sa forum

so ano po kaya ang problem?what shud i do?

the glow plug indicator is not just an indicator stating that your glow plugs are working. It is also an indicator that 1 or a couple of plugs are busted, depending on what the symptoms are.

A long standing glow plug light may mean:

    1) it has an after glow cycle to keep the plugs heated to have an instant smooth start (at least this is how it is in most newer MBs)

    2) it may mean that a there is a busted plug or two. Check the conditions of your plugs and if all are in working order. 1 busted plug may not cause you to have hard starting since your van may probably still have good compression. A good diesel car with good compression with 1 or 2 busted plugs can still start easily.

As for the fuse being busted... yugn glow plug ba at yung AC wired under the same fuse link? sorry not really familiar with the MB van fuse layout.
