ah you mean the infamous college cliques? during my time it wasn't that apparent yet. or i just didn't notice because i was heavily into mountaineering back then. you can just imagine how bohemian we tried to be way back when so...we just didn't careOT: Don't you guys have "groups" in Ateneo. I am wondering if you belong in the same as my Kuya. The taste in music is almost identical, it blows my mind! haha! I know back in the 90s people would lend CDs and copy to cassette I would be very impressed if you went to college post year 2000.
high school pa kami actually hiraman na ng compact discs and cassette tapes (hanggang tapes lang ako dati). a classmate of mine from cavite really turned me on into jazz music w/ the likes of stanley clarke, george duke, ewf, boy katindig, eloise laws, gene dunlap, etc. he used to do tape-to-tape recordings courtesy of his college dorm mates' eclectic collections and then we'd listen to them during lunch break or after class.

hard to find CDs hehe. that's a phrase i haven't heard in a long while
pag suzanne vega ang pinag-uusapan ito iyong kantang talagang naalala ko.
although i think tom's diner was a bigger hit than luka
^ nasa pretty in pink ba iyan? all i remember about that film was the scene where the kid who liked molly ringwald was "caged" inside a glass table. laugh trip iyon![]()
since you like the isley brothers pala, here's a gem i first heard in one of bruce willis' old tv projects.
[
i think that's how motown music really sounded before
