MI5... true to its title, the plot is just impossible but I enjoyed the stunts and a lot of MMA moves from the leading lady. I would give it an 8.5 Bought 2 tickets for the directors club dalawang couples lang kami out of 32 seats. Then going into 15 minutes of the show, dumating isang barangay ng mga pana, ang ingay! Surprising mabango ung mga tsiks na dumaan sa harap namin.![]()
i was able to watch this too and it was a pleasant surprise to see a somber will ferrell doing very well in a non-comedic role
another flick i watched over the weekend was george clooney's serious outing in the descendants. he carried the movie w/ a little bit of lightness even though the film was all about family, infidelity, and death
Mission Impossible with the family. Last night at Robinson's LPC..... Our kids changed their minds.
Ant Man is scheduled for next weekend....

Hitman: Agent 47 at Greenhills Promenade
Hmmmmm, 6/10 for me. Brutal nga lang hahaha!
I read that Paul Walker was originally cast to play the role of Agent 47 in Hitman: Agent 47 before he died. That would have been awesome, although I think Rupert Friend did a creditable job.
In terms of the more menacing Agent stare, I like Timothy Olyphant in the 2007 film. His leading lady, Olga Kurylenko, was way prettier too.
For the future Agent 47 films, maybe they can give the role to Jason Statham?

Zulu Dawn echoed many of the inaccuracies that was brought up after the battle. Some inaccuracies included the ammo situation and the Martini-Henry rifles jamming. There was also the lack of the solar eclipse in the movie. Nor was there any mention of the Zulu warriors being drugged up (as part of pre-battle preparations). But, still. I felt it had the best "feel" among the Zulu War movies. There was (a bit more) focus on the Zulus which I considered the finest mobile infantry of their time.
I think the main contributors to the British defeat are the formations being too spread out and Durnford's retreat which allowed the left horn of the Zulu formation to outflank the Brits. The Brits also didn't have any Gatlings with them at Isandlwana (they had them in later battles). That meant the Brit lines should have been more compact with less gaps between formations.
I have the book, "The Zulu War: A Pictorial History" which is a great companion to the movie.

Did a couple of paul walker movies at home - running scared and the lazarus project. Both are good!
