    i know of some folks.
    they watch and criticize the move from all angles.. faithfulness to the "original story".. quality workmanship.. props..
    "but did you enjoy the movie, even as they failed your expections in the above?"
    "yes. we watch movies to relax."

    i, myself, when i watch movies inspired by old comics, i criticize them when they veer off too much away from the original concept. but i still enjoy the movie.

    THE GREEN BOOK on HBO just now. A true story about a black musician from NY in the 50s, Dr. Don Shirley who made a road trip to the Southern States to play. He hired a crass driver, Viggo Mortessen & the movie takes us to to their experiences on racism (a black, educated man from the North who plays for white people in the South) & their developing friendship. A true story.

    I came in with mo expectations whatsoever and was left in awe of the character development, plot twists, and just the overall cinematography.

    That's coming from someone whose first K-drama is Kingdom. Hehe

    Same. My first was Kingdom. I hate romantic anythings so I had no interest. I am amazed that guys are liking it. I thought it was a chick flick. Hmmm. Might give it a try then
