    Star Wars wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Yes there are some rehashes from previous movies, and yes there's quite a lot of fan service - but generally there was a breath of fresh air into the plot.

    It's always hard to close a trilogy, or in this case a series of 8 other movies before it, so the movie was destined to overpromise and underdeliver like the GoT finale a few months back. But I'd say overall it was a good (not great, but good) movie. Still worth catching in the cinemas.

    Just watched over lunch. Nice movie. Lots of creative liberties taken but I think the message stands - the Church desperately needs to be more outward-looking in this age of rising inequality and the injustice of late-stage capitalism.
