It is a Tarantino film with over the top moments. But for me the best parts are the ones which contain elements of a Hitchcock film: (1) the slow build up of suspense and (2) a very charming villain.
I wanted to compare Inglourious Basterds to other men on a mission movies so I watched the 1967 The Dirty Dozen on DVD.
Inglourious Basterds is more entertaining as a whole even though it has slow, talky moments. The Dirty Dozen has more action and has a straightforward story (men are chosen, then trained, then go on their mission). The men of the Dirty Dozen (which include Charles Bronson, Telly Savalas and Donald Sutherland) are more interesting than Brad Pit's Basterds.
I'm still a teenager btw, pero I'm not a fan..Ordinary movie lang sya para sa akin..
Yep heard also from my cousin sa SM North EDSA yung pila duon sa bilihan ng ticket near Cinemas 5-8 abot na sa Bread talk sa the Block. Ganun kahaba... Crazy! Even if I was desperate on watching a movie I am not THAT desperate to line up that long. Kung gobyerno lang yan baka naglagay na ako hehehe
2012. Great movie. :2thumbsup:
About the twilight saga thingy.
Pangit naman si kristen stewart eh, okay sana kung si taylor swift.

+1 here and also to chikselog
eh ordinary movie lang naman yan. may book naman yan na mas detailed pa ang kwento. at sa movie, wala ang ibang scenes na interesting na nasa libro. haaaay naku... even my niece wants a twilight book! hindi ko nga binilhan kasi on season lang siya, not worth a read IMO lang.
i'll be watching inglorious basterds later this evening at 480p resolution. mukhang maganda...
Good for you! Mas ok manood mag-isa. Mas mae-enjoy mo yung movie.
movie: I love you man (Jason Segel).
*haus.
The Hangover - Wasn't as good as I thought it would be...
Taking of Pelham 123 - Action from the word go, loved it! Nice roles from Denzel Washington & John Travolta.
i have a DVD here ng paranormal activity... nagiipon pa ako ng lakas bago ko panoorin. probably will watch it this afternoon.
A Christmas Carol,- at the ATC, Saturday night with wifey and kids..... Very good animation.....

watched it at eastwood. . .the first time we watched a movie with our daughter. . .enjoy naman sya kahit nagtakip ng mata when the ghost of marley appeared =)
yup, nice adaptation. . .it couldn't have been made into a movie any closer to the original script without the present film making technologies. . .makes me wanna read the book again
Astroboy ...
I didn't like the way they changed the story line and characters from the original.![]()
