yeah, mas malayong okay. may kababawan lang din yung plot.

why are these seasoned actors are accepting such roles? they might be past their prime but are they not supposed to be better as they age? like a fine wine. i know a movie is good when i watch it again, and again after sometime. kahit alam mo na istorya, you watch it over and over. nowadays, more like a smut flicks, you watch once and forget

    GOLD (2016)

PLOT: Kenny Wells, a prospector desperate for a lucky break, teams up with a similarly eager geologist and sets off on a journey to find gold in the uncharted jungle of Indonesia.

Based on true events daw and upon googling the geologist I was shocked na pinoy pala sya.

Black Panther (2018) on Blu-ray. Very good. Minor quibble: Bakit Lexus ang mga kotse sa car chase in South Korea?

Murder on the Orient Express (1974) on DVD.
Murder on thr Orient Express (2018) on Blu-ray.

    I prefer the 1974 film.

    - The mood is just right. No overly dramatic moments like in the 2018 film when the bida puts a gun on the table and dares somebody to shoot him.

    - Better cast (Lauren Bacall, Ingrid Bergman, Sean Connery, John Gielgud, Vanessa Redgrave, Michael York, Jacqueline Bisset, Anthony Perkins, Richard Widmark).

    - Better music.

King arthur: legend of the sword now at hbo...for the nth time 😂

I like this version of the story... puro a-hole ang mga characters. Astig din ang soundtrack.

I also like the mage character. It was very well portrayed. Even david beckham was exceptional in it 😂

I like the dry humor of the dialogues. They remind me so much of the 90's movie snatch

do what you gotta do so you can do what you wanna do

Ant man and the wasp. The jokes are bland and aren't funny anymore... "Haven't I heard that joke some where else before..." 2 end credits scenes. One related to infinity wars...

Watched it too. 2 end credits scenes. The last one isn't worth it. After watching the one related to infinity war don't wait for the last one.

Annihilation, it's boring, and daming "and then?" moments. Ang bagal. I think the movie is aiming to be artistic but it turns out to be a good screen saver for your desktop.

Tomb Raider (2018) starring Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft.

The fight scenes were more realistic but that was the only thing likable about the movie. I find the plot a little thin. If they wanted a grittier Lara Croft, they got it. The movie's main villain was meh.

I just wish they gave it the same treatment as the James Bond series when it rebooted with Daniel Craig.
