Watch your kids...

A few days ago a black Toyota Fortuner pulled up on the hospital ER. Out came two guys who looked like construction workers (they had paint drippings on their sandos and shorts). One of them was carrying a female child (around 3 y/o). The child was drenched in water and unconscious.

All attempts to revive her failed.

Turns out the child lives in one of the fancier villages in Makati. As the yaya was pressing some clothes, the child somehow got out. It was not known whether she accidentally fell in the pool or took a swim in their pool on purpose.

From what I gathered, the construction workers working on the adjacent property saw the body floating and went 'ober da bakod' trying to save her. The uncle of the girl who lives in the property rushed her to the hospital. The mother of the girl is in Europe and left care of her kids (there was an older male) to the aunt/uncle and yaya. No word about their dad.

Nakakaawa yung bata...

Please remind your kasambahay/yayas not to loose sight of their alagas when under their watch...

Kawawa naman ang mga batang ito...... Yung isang thread, 4 yr old kid, dinukot then pinatay, tinapon sa creek. Eto naman, nalunod sa pool.

Para atang napabayaan itong mga batang ito ah. Dapat, talaga laging may titingin sa mga bata. Hindi yung pinababayaan na lang basta-basta, para maiwasan ang mga ganitong incidents.

And may I add that gruesome incident of that 3-year old girl who was snatched in a mall in Sta. Mesa and later on found lifeless and with a stab wound thrown in a creek along Ortigas Avenue.

Akong nagbabantay sa anak ko pag pumupunta kami sa mall wala akong tiwala sa mga katulong, si misis naman hindi maiwasang tumingin ng mga damit etc...

dapat talaga lagi una ang bata sa lahat. ako pinagdiinan ko sa yaya ng anak ko na dapat lagi unahin ang bata. pag nagkasunog (wag naman sana) e di baleng walang maisalbang gamit basta mailabas ang bata.

Ideally one should be watching toddlers and pre-schoolers full time. Another person should be doing the laundry or ironing. It's that or wait for the kids to sleep then do the other stuff, in which case overworked naman and is not effective.

i would love to get a hold of that person and make him feel what the parents and that child felt when he killed her.... sorry po, kaka kulo lang ng dugo.

i too have a child and when we go malling dapat talaga 100% ng attention nasa kanya. marami talaga dyan gumagala, waiting for an opportunity.

kahit sa bahay, i discovered malingat ka lang, nandyan ang nadapa na or nauntog.

guys, hindi ako pinatulog kakaisip kasi kagabi. halos umaga na ng dalawin ako ng antok. bwisit na episode ng correspondents kasi na yan. yun bang hostage. the incident happened 2002 pa. 4 y/o kid (boy) ang victim. sa terminal ng bus sa pasay. the little kid was stabbed several times ng addict na hostage taker. ewan! nanggigigil ako sa galit! walang nagawa ang mga pulis doon. matapos saksakin ng mamang adik eh inulan naman ng bala yung suspect at victim. walang laban yung bata.nakakaawa talaga.

tapos ngayong umaga naman, batang dinukot tsaka sinaksak sa dibdib. ano na yan? batang naluunod? parang ayaw ko tuloy umalis sa bahay kanina umaga at bantayan na lang ang dalawang batibot.
