Feedback on Global Destiny Cable Tv

hi

just saw a flyer for "global destiny cable tv" here in marikina. it says a ph450 (vs ph600 to ph800 for sky) monthly fee and free installation (vs ph1000 for sky).

and for 450 you get some of the skycable gold channels, plus channels like A1, discovery travel and something, etc. (but no star channels n espni believe these are special channels or not available with sky. syempre i have to ask the details from the agent should i decide to call him. baka may hidden charges or non-available channels sa lineup nila, baka d naman din maganda service.

its either this or we might get the dream free-b ph8900, it nearly matches the skycable gold rates and its channels. plus we get something "the satelite receiver device"

before i saw this flyer, i belive skycable lang availalbe sa marikina. but we feel the price of skycable gold is not worth it (ph800 a month plus install pa) compared to the "free-b promo" of dream. and this newcomer global destiny cable.

We have Destiny Cable and my biggest issue is the lack of the Star Channels (Star TV, Star Movies, etc). Sky Cable has them. Mas Ok ang Sky but it's much more expensive.

Masama ang customer service ng Sky, The reception on our TVs have been snowy for almost a month already, nakailang tawag na ako, may 3 technicians na pumunta di parin naayos. Tapos ngayon tuwing tawag namin puro ang sasabihin may pupunta na raw pero walang darating.

sa area naman namin ok naman ang kukulit nga mga bata pa kasi parang nag lalaro lang ..kung magtrabaho .... na experience ko iyan ..may nag loose connection kaya naging snowy ..less than 24 hours lang na fix nila..may cell number din kasi ako nila kaya pag my problem ay sila na lang contact ko... tapat -tapat lang cguro po

i can live without the star channels. sa sky ang ma miss ko lang ay yun exclusive nila ANC, lifestyle and Hero channel. but the channels i really live for are; discovery, cnn, hbo, axn, jack tv, the nba channels,

basta, clear ang signal ng destiny and ok ang service and their billing, i think we can live with destiny for the meantime. for apartment lang naman. but pag bahay na talaga, i agree na pang sky cable or dream tv na dapat.

got global-destiny kasi nag promo yung ahente; prepaid 3000 for 12mos. ok na rin considering the alternative. of course madami wala like star channels and axn

and may annoucement sila sa barker channel nila i saw, starting feb8, may espn, star sports, and 3 japanese channels. maybe they will be adding yun mga nawala sa kanila nuon.

they can challenge skycable na rin ulit.

sky cable was terminated sa area namin (San Francisco Del Monte, QC) due to rampant illegal connections daw. ang masakit pati kami na legal, nadamay. we are on a semi annual scheme kaya bayad na kami till dec. '06. inaraw-araw ko sila tawagan since july 21 para i-report. after a week tsaka lang nila sinabi na terminated na raw at we will be receiving our rebate daw after a month.
no choice but to go back to destiny cable. nagpa sched na ko this weekend though it's much cheaper at 450 a month yun nga lang walang star channels (sports, nat'l. geog., espn, etc.) no choice talaga.

anybody po na me kakilalang cable repair man? pa pm lang po.

I really hate global destiny slow ung service nila tapos walang star movies and animax. For me sky cable pa rin ako kahit mahal at least good service at alam nila what most people want

Been using Global Destiny since 2001. Meron na silang Star Sports, so I can watch F1 live! Pero mas babad ako sa Crime / Investigation, History Channel and NatGeo.

Sayang nga nawala yung Wowow. Pag weekend, approaching midnight, maganda ang palabas, although censored nga lang, hehehe. Sana ibalik.

P500 na sila per month (from P450), but still cheap compared to the other cable providers.

We switched to Global Destiny in 1999 from Home Cable back then, even our internet provider is Destiny, frequent down in their service is what I dislike about them, and it takes days before they could restore the service. I'm looking for alternative cable provider at the moment.

Destiny Cable sucks. Ang konti ng channel, puro repeat pa.

For me, Sky Cable pa rin ... even if 1k+ ang binabayaran every month, sulit.

Ang gusto ko lang sa Destiny is Discovery Turbo.
