    una akong na-expose kay karl roy sa ateneo college covered courts sa isang gig nila kasama banda niyang advent call. sa sobrang passionate ng band na iyan grabe ka volatile relationships nila sa isa'i-isa hehe

    astig iyong reggae version nila ng knockin' on heaven's door ata iyon. this guy truly rocked the music

    He died from cardiac arrest. Was the vocalist of p.o.t and advent call. Rip Karl Roy.

    Karl Roy really did live the high life... hard. I remember meeting him a few years ago when I bumped into him after a Kapatid gig (stopped to talk with them because Nathan Azarcon, the bassist and former Rivermaya bassist, was my classmate in grade school and the barkada of one of my relatives) when he proudly showed me his scar from open-heart surgery. Sad that it was his heart that finally gave out.

    The guy just kept making music till he died. A true rocker.
