June 2nd, 2005 02:13 PM #1hi guys,
sideline ko kse mag-edit ng videos pero small-time pa lang (weddings, birthdays, VCD souvenirs, school projects, etc.). gusto ko na sana mag-upgrade pra makakuha ng bagong clients..i've been using Pinnacle DC10 capture card for a couple of years now. Analog capturing lang sya and i want to add digital na since marami na gumgamit ng DVcamcorders.. and para DVD output na rin.
i'm not sure if pwede na bibili lng ako ng firewire port for the digital inputs and still use my DC10 for analog (para mas mura). if ganun, will there be an issue sa rendering? or bili nlng ako ng totally new AV/DV capture card?
also, ang licensed software ko is Pinnacle Studio 7 lng.
Hope you can help me out! ;) Thanks!!

June 2nd, 2005 02:41 PM #2Since your budget is tight, just buy a firewire card. You can get one from PC shops for about 1K. So with the firewire card and your existing DC10 card you can do both digital and analog capture. You can stick with Studio 7 as it can handle DV capture. That's it.

Nako-konsiyensya ka ba about using pirated CD? :praning:

June 2nd, 2005 03:49 PM #6Firewire card and DC10 are capture cards.

i was just asking the same question to villman computers but for me it's for capturing dv images from my camcorder to a laptop. they reccomended Snazio Pocket PVR which costs P5998. see mo, www.snazio.com/Links/PVR.html meron din yata sila sa villman for a desktop, mas mura http://www.villman.com/
then pag meron ka na turuan mo ko ha ehehehe! wala pa ko alam e, naubos na kasi yung dv tapes ko so need ko ilipat sa vcd/dvd, mas mura kasi blank disk kesa dv tape.Last edited by yebo; June 2nd, 2005 at 05:14 PM.

Instead of Pinnacle, why not try the Taiwan video cards like:
PROLINK
http://www.prolink.com.tw/english/pr.../mutimedia.htm
and
KWORLD
http://www.kworld.com.tw/
Hindi hamak na mas makakamura ka pa. The quality is even top-notch. Your customers can never tell the difference.
In fact, Adobe Premiere is used more often sa Hollywood movie studios. Okay na okay yung nabili kong Adobe Premiere jan sa may Makati Cinema Square - fully functional. P100 lang.

have you guys heard of the new JVC 4GB Microdrive. ok no! considering ang size lang ng isang DVD movie is more than 4GB. sana ma-push itong format na ito not only to videocams but also to digicams & computers.
3M Color Stable series are all above 50% TSER. RFID readable through the tint, stays good for...
