for dream subscribers.

we are planning to subscribe this coming week, any reviews or issues with the service? im just afraid that we will invest a big amount for the dish and i just need inputs on the service that they provide.

another question is sabi ng sales rep for 1 TV lang daw, kung mag splitter kami for 2 more tv's ako na gagawa pwede kaya yun? thanks.

thanks ok naman pala, kasi i called their sales representative, 9.5K plus 1.5K for 1yr plus the dish and the other devices. good deal na nga siya.

hehe, hindi nga pwede mag splitter, or pwede pala, pero same channel ang lalabas sa mga extension TVs. sa decoder ka kasi magpapalit ng channel.

You also need a twin-LNB on the dish for that additional decoder (to be able to watch a different channel on another TV).

from the dish, I used a splitter, so nagamit ko 2 recievers namin.

when available, better use a twin or quad LNB pa rin, kasi bawas ang signal strength (AGC) on a nokia receiver.

ganito kasi setup namin, one set here in MM, one set sa province, pag vacation, dala ko receiver sa province, with a splitter share kami sa isang sat dish.

If you have other cable operators in your area dun ka na lang. Pero kung katulad sa area namin na wala pang cable operator then no choice but to have dream satellite.

Ang problema sa Sat TV, pag masama weather, walang signal. Kaya ako I have an ordinary antenna just as a backup.

Dont forget it also has FM radio.Signals are disrupted during the inital downpour of rain, but comes back after several minutes.

if you say portable, did you mean you want to bring it from place to place? i don't think that would be easy. you will have a hard time aiming the dish with the satellite.

That's one of the advantage in having SatTv kahit nasaan isla ka ng Pilipinas makukuha mo ang signal ng DreamTv in fact kahit sa ibang bansa ng SouthEast Asia ay abot ang footprint nito. Madali lang hanapin ang location nito nasa 146 E, kailangan mo lang ng receiver na may code edit menu or may AU software para hindi ka na magpapalit palagi ng code. Kung gusto mong hindi mawala ang signal kapag umuulan lakihan mo lang ang dish antenna mo.
