Some of the DVD and Blu-Ray sets we have at home that I can recall. I have to look up the others. Just the movies and not shows:
    • Back to the Future 1-3
    • Indiana Jones 1-4
    • The Mummy 1-3
    • The Terminator set
    • Alien/Aliens/Aliens 3/Alien Resurrection
    • Jurassic Park 1-3
    • Star Wars 1-6
    • The Godfather 1-3
    • Men In Black 1-3
    • The Matrix DVD Collection - includes Animatrix
    • Pitch Black/Chronicles of Riddick/Riddick - includes animated mini-episodes
    • Predator/Predator 2/Predator vs Aliens
    • Lord of the Rings set
    • The Hobbit set

Individual movies (more of individual taste):
    • The Last of the Mohicans (1992)
    • The Killing Fields - hard to find where I am.
    • Army of Darkness
    • There's Something About Mary
    • Midnight Run
    • The Last Samurai
    • Vanilla Sky
    • Risky Business

Another series I love is the National Lampoon's (original) Vacation Series with Chevy Chase: Vacation (Wally World), European Vacation, Vegas Vacation, Christmas Vacation.

My family have their own collections (already mentioned by others). My wife loves the Hunger Games collection, in particular.

Among shows (not movies). I have a number.

    The more common ones:
Star Trek TNG, DS9, Voyager. Only TNG is complete because I can watch the rest (all the shows and movies) on Netflix.
    X-Files Seasons 1-9 (my wife's favorite series)\
    Married with Children Seasons 1-11
The History Channel Dogfights Season 1 & 2
    The Universe
    The Greatest Tank Battles

Just the shows above are already a lot of DVDs.

    The less common shows:

Black Lagoon Seasons 1 and 2 DVD and Blu Ray set

I want to buy the complete Star Blazers saga. But, all three cost around $700.

I never watched it much. But, a DVD set of all 40 Voltes V episodes costs $50. That's not a bad price considering the price for all the Star Blazers episodes is almost $700.

I also consider Apocalypse Now a collector movie. It's nice seeing scenes of the old Covelandia (Cavite) and surrounding fish ponds in the opening credits (the old Caltex gas station sign). I spent a lot of time there when I wanted to cool off. Back then, it was the closest resort I can commute to.

    Movie for the inner soul

Syempre you watch all the movie series. Pero ito ang special mention ko.

Harry Potter (lalo na prisoner of azkaban, half-blood prince and deathly hallows 1 and 2)

    Hobbit (The Desolation of Smaug)

Kung Fu Panda. ( Kung Fu Panda 2) Dito nagsimula sya matuto ng inner peace pero sa 3 nya naperfect.

i suggest one googles "the best (put category here) movies ever made".
i am confident you will come across titles which you may have forgotten already, or ones which you wanted to watch but never did... or ones which you want to watch again.
