maybe the same reason he is bullet proof? he has super human everything, so why not super human hair? hair that stays neat and groomed even after mabugbog... same with getting dirty, he has protective aura even his cape is protected. at kung nadumihan man sya, galaw galaw lang sya at ultrasonic frequency and dirt will just fall off.

could be, but as i remember since he is a kryptonian his bodies molecular density was different to ordinary human being. outside same look as human being, but inside/body compostion is different.
