I prefer (re)playing old "classic" DOS games via ScummVM and DOSBox. ScummVM has some free games available for download while many DOS abandonware games are legally available for download (not the ones I'm showing; I own the cd's for those):

There are also beautiful remakes of games like King's Quest 1 and 2 available for free:

Oohhh... Monkey Island! A classic!!!! I've loved all the Monkey Island games... even the old EGA ones are still good for a laugh.

gamehippo.com is one good shareware/freeware site. As is the Hall of Belated Favorites (? forgot the actual name, someone help me! ?).

The one problem with gamehippo is the number of turds vs. gems.

Luckily I kept a lot of my old MSDOS games, mainly the cd ones. I still have the Day Of The Tentacle cd, the talkie Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis cd, Steel Panthers and Expansion cd's, plus the images shown: Crusader: No Remorse and Curse Of Monkey Island cd's.

Curse of Monkey Island (3) also includes Monkey Island 1 and 2 in the cd.
