Back in elementary years we usually play with 7-up and put mentos on to it..

    Ganun din pag-meron gusto maki-inom..

    *ghosthunter,

The latest Mythbusters episode to appear in the US sought to answer the question: "Why does dropping Mentos into a bottle of Diet Coke create a geyser effect?" - this is the first time the Mythbusters didn't assign a "busted", "plausible" or "confirmed" rating, as the geyser isn't a myth:

Slightly OT: Wikipedia also notes that Kari Byron's FHM photo shoot made use of the Mentos experiment: http://www.fhmus.com/articles-1276.asp

I watched that episode over the weekend. Given it's a true and repeatable reaction, they didn't need to label it "confirmed". They just investigated what in diet coke & mentos that would cause the bubble cascade to form.
