Nice to see Ghost and Jon reunited. That was a nice ending for them.

As for the rest, I'm satisfied because there were a few surprises I didn't expect.

Yes, unfortunately. Although I read one of the leaks and it stated that Tyrion would be executed, so him ending up as the Hand was a nice surprise. hehehe.

It's a fantasy TV series, of course everybody wants fire-breathing dragons and zombies.

I'll admit though, I miss all those great acting scenes. The last one I was impressed with was when Brienne was begging Jamie not to leave Winterfell. After that, it's all about Kings Landing and that didn't have any notable performances.

I think audiences have gotten somewhat desensitized from all the plot twists and surprises that almost nothing shocks them anymore. Which is why Jon killing Dany is sure to make a lasting impression. This will be a polarizing finale to be sure.

We'll all find out in less than 27 hours.

Yes sir, the fantasy elements were to be expected but I didn't think that a substantial part of the plot will revolve around them. Anyway, that doesn't matter now. I think GoT is still one of the best TV series.


I wonder why some fans are shocked and upset about how Dany turned out in the end. It's not like her character suddenly took an unexpected twist. There are already multiple red flags right from the start. You know there's a high chance that she's gonna end up as a disaster.

The only disappointment for me was Drogon, I wanted him to lay waste to the surroundings before flying off.

Maybe Bran will be able to warg in to his brain and convince him to be his guard-dragon, the same way he did for Khaleesi.

Eventually when the realm is already stable that is a possibility. But after coming our of so many wars, a leader voted by the different lords of the other kingdoms seems to be the ideal set-up. So that reconstruction and healing would be done much faster and immediately just like what happened.

Bran with his powers is too many steps ahead of the game hehe. Any future schemer will probably just give up.

I don't blame the fans if they want a fairy tale ending because that's what feels good. Same thing in real life, pretty lies and hopes will always be preferred over the harsh and uncomfortable truth.
